Collaborations: Baby Shower for Banyan!

We are so excited that our friend Mimi has moved back to Sarasota!  She is due with her first baby in early January.  We threw a baby shower for her a few weeks ago.  

(Conveniently, a nautical theme!  Great for an Anchored Joy post.)  

We set to work photographing the details...

Although this was how Alisia was feeling 1 hour before the shower (as the hostess)...

the shower was a lovely success!

Collaborations: Roberts Family

After a few months break, for the birth of baby Isla, we're back!  

We are so enjoying the cooler weather around here.  Perfect timing for some family shoots!

We've got lots of creative ideas brewing, so stay tuned for lots more fun shoots!

Collaborations: Baby Mia

We are so in love with Mia and her super cute bedroom.  Mia's mom, Rebecca, is one of our best friends, so we have been anticipating her arrival for 9 looong months.  It was well worth the wait!  She is as beautiful and sweet as possible!  Its a tough order to create a shared room for a baby girl and her four year old brother, but Rebecca executed it perfectly.  Her gender neutral color scheme was a great launching off point to give Mia and Liam two very distinct spaces in one adorable room. 

Mia was such an awesome newborn model for us.  We knew we were getting to shoot an amazing nursery, and a cute baby... but we DIDN'T expect such a sweet, sleepy model! 

 She was such a trooper!
